The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued the official notification for the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) 2025. The notice was released on 14 January 2026 and invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to NBEMS Fellowship programmes.
The Fellowship Entrance Test is mandatory for all candidates seeking admission into NBEMS-recognised fellowship courses.
About the Fellowship Entrance Test
The Fellowship Entrance Test is conducted every year by NBEMS for doctors who wish to pursue advanced clinical training through fellowship programmes. These fellowships are offered in various medical specialities and provide structured, supervised training.
Admission to these programmes is granted only through FET.
Important Dates
The official schedule announced by NBEMS is as follows:
- Information Bulletin available from: 14 January 2026 (5:00 PM onwards)
- Online application begins: 14 January 2026 (5:00 PM onwards)
- Last date to submit application: 03 February 2026 (till 11:55 PM)
- Date of examination: 14 March 2026
- Declaration of result: By 14 April 2026
Candidates are advised to submit their applications well before the closing date.
How to Apply for FET 2026?
The FET 2026 application process is online only. And you can submit your application forms through the official NBEMS portal starting from 14 January 2026. The application window will close on 03 February 2026.
Before applying, candidates must carefully read the Information Bulletin available on the NBEMS website. The bulletin contains details regarding eligibility criteria, examination scheme, fee structure and other instructions.
