DNB Final Theory Result June 2026 Declared: Check it & What’s Next for Candidates? 

The wait is over for DNB candidates. 

The DNB Final Theory Examination – June 2026 result has been declared by NBEMS on 24 August 2026. The theory examinations were conducted from 18 to 21 June 2026 on a hybrid platform across the country. 

If you appeared for the exam, this is the time to check your result, note the next deadlines and, if you have qualified, start preparing for the DNB Final Practical Examination.

Candidates can check their result through the official NBEMS website and the result link provided by NBEMS.

Didn’t Qualify? Know Your Options 

If you did not qualify the DNB Final Theory Examination, NBEMS has provided an option to access the digital copy of your answer scripts. 

The request must be submitted through the NBEMS Miscellaneous Fee Payment Portal within 7 calendar days of result declaration, which means the deadline is 31 August 2026. 

The request can be made within 10 calendar days, i.e. by 3 September 2026, with an administrative fee of ₹500 per paper. 

So, if you need to use either of these options, don’t wait until the last day. 

Qualified? Your Practical Preparation Starts Now 

Clearing theory is an important milestone, but DNB training doesn’t end with written papers. 

The DNB Final Practical Examination is the next major step, and the tentative schedule has already been released by NBEMS. 

The practical examinations are scheduled to begin from 8 September 2026 and continue through November 2026, depending on the specialty and batch.

NBEMS has also advised candidates to regularly check its website because communication regarding practical centre allotment is not sent through email or post.

1. Check your OEEP account regularly 
Your practical examination details and admit card will be made available through the Online Exit Examination Portal. 

2. Keep checking NBEMS updates 
The current schedule is tentative, so don’t plan around these dates until the final schedule is confirmed. 

3. Start OSCE and practical-oriented revision early 
Focus on examination approach, clinical scenarios, instruments, interpretation and commonly tested practical areas relevant to your specialty. 

4. Practise presentation, not just recall 
Knowing something and explaining it clearly under examination pressure are two different skills. 

5. Revise with a practical mindset 
While studying a topic, ask yourself: “If the examiner gives me this case, what will I do next?”
